The Augmented Gamemaster is a practical guide to using AI and other modern tools to enhance tabletop roleplaying, from the first notes of session prep to the final boss fight.
It explores where technology can genuinely help a Gamemaster: research and brainstorming, campaign organization, maps and artwork, NPC voices, music and sound, virtual tabletops, session capture, and post-game notes.
AI is part of that toolkit, but it is not the point.
The goal is to use these tools without losing the creativity, improvisation, judgment, and human interaction that make tabletop RPGs work in the first place.
This isn't about replacing the Gamemaster. It's about augmenting one.
The Augmented Gamemaster is currently a work in progress and will be released when it's done. No artificial deadline. No countdown clock. No promises about Q3.
It'll be ready when it's worth reading.
